AOI - Africa Orientale Italiana

Definition: The AOI, Africa Orientale Italiana, were Italian territories in East Africa: Eritrea (Italian since 1896), Abyssinia/Ethiopia (Italian since 1936), and Somaliland (Italian since 1925) which formed part of Italy's African Empire.
