Biography: Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Liberia's 'Iron Lady'

Pending confirmation of election results, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is set to become Liberia's president and the first woman to be elected as head of state in Africa. Johnson-Sirleaf is an economics graduate from Harvard, was Director of the UN Development Program Regional Bureau for Africa, and head of Liberia's Governance Reform Commission set up at the end of the civil war.
