Definition:
A Commonwealth republic is a member state of the Commonwealth of Nations whose government is a republic. All but two of the 18 African states which are part of the Commonwealth are republics. Lesotho and Swaziland are constitutional monarchies (although Swaziland is run more like an absolute monarchy).
