Sankofa (variant #2) – 'return and fetch it'.

Symbol represents the importance of learning from the past.

This symbol occurs as stylised bird, commonly found on akrafena (the right handed state sword), or as a an abstract motif. One version of the proverb says that "it is not taboo to return fetch that which you have forgotton" which points a deeper meaning that you can learn from past mistakes and correct them in the present.
