Historic Postcards of Sierra Leone
Friday December 30, 2005
It'll take some time, but it's a fascinating tour ... browse through the 54-pages of historic postcards of Sierra Leone from the collection of Gary Schulze, who went to the country as a Peace Corps volunteer shortly after independence in 1961 to teach history and civics. Schultze also ended up serving as an acting curator of the Sierra Leone National Museum, helping Dr MCF Easmon establish the museum and travelling throughout the country collecting traditional art for it.
