Mention the name Latin American revolutionary Che Guevara and the country that comes to mind isn't generally the Congo in central Africa. But in 1965 Guevara went to Congo to try and spark a revolution against the pro-Western regime, which had emerged after the assasination of Congolese independence hero Patrice Lumumba.
