Continued unrest in Darfur

Despite reports by a number of NGO's (such as Amnesty International), the United Nations, and now a fact finding team from the African Union, Sudanese militias are continuing their ethnic cleaning of non-Arabs in the Darfur region of Sudan. The Sudan government denies allegations that the militias are backed by the Sudanese military but have indicted that any international intervention would be met by military force.
