Volunteering in Africa with Medecins Sans Frontieres

Wednesday July 21, 2004
Medecins Sans Frontieres, or Doctors Without Borders, has long been working in troubled parts of Africa, including Sudan which is currently making the headlines. Volunteers aren't limited to people with medical skills, but include technical staff, administrators, logisticians, building engineers, and sanitation experts, plus staff in the offices in various countries. There is no age limit for volunteers, but applicants need a minimum of two years' professional experience and be available for at least six months.
• Find your nearest MSF Office for information on volunteering, e.g. United Kingdom, USA, Canada and Australia.
